BFRJ has been listening very fervently to the calls for progress across the education front. In our collective spaces, we began to see a clear opportunity to create a moment for unification and immediate action within the higher education arena.

The Mission: Fighting for racial justice and equity by providing immediate resources, assistance, and amplification for BIPOC in the Broadway and Theatrical community at-large. In doing so, we help to create safe spaces throughout the theatre community for creativity and artistry to thrive.

Decolonize This seeks to aid in the transformation of the entire landscape of higher education, which serves as a large training ground for the theatre industry. Decolonize This will give space for healing, provide tools and resources for active immediate change, and amplify/provide access to the diverse voices that have been working towards the decolonization of higher education in the theatre arts.
