Description
Hello! My name is Elena Ricardo and I’m a Broadway performer currently based in New York City! Being born to Broadway veterans, I resisted the business as I pursued my Olympic gold dreams as a competitive gymnast.
Retiring from the sport at the ripe old age of 15, I traded in my leotards and chalk for costumes and makeup. I left college to start my professional acting career in the world premiere of Bring it On: the Musical! and then jumped from the Mamma Mia tour to Broadway.
After making my debut in the ensemble, I moved on to the role of Sophie Sheridan and had the honor of closing out the hit show’s 14 years on Broadway in 2015. I joined the Beautiful: The Carole King Musical tour and made my way into the Broadway company as the Carole understudy in 2018.
With years of Broadway and regional theatre credits, I’d LOVE to share my experience with you so you can join me in this crazy industry! It’s hard work but it is SO worth it if you are passionate and prepared! So get started with me!
